An Elegant Affair

When Halle met Mitchell at a brunch in SoHo, something in the air shifted. What began as a casual brunch, quickly turned into hours of conversation and laughter. There was an undeniable feeling that this meeting was special, and they were right.

For their wedding, there were a handful of requirements. They wanted a beach destination. They wanted someplace full of energy and culture, yet intimate and tropical. When they found Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, they knew they had found the perfect place to make unforgettable memories.


Memorable Details

The morning of the wedding was peaceful. Blue skies were overhead as a gentle ocean breeze added to the quiet excitement that permeated the air. The bride and groom spent the morning getting ready in separate suites, the bride with her mother and mother-in-law, and the groom with his father and groomsmen. Emotions were high. A mix of laughter, nerves, and few happy tears filled the rooms.

The ceremony took place on our beach deck, at the edge of our resort. The space looked exactly as the couple was picturing, with clear chairs, a mirrored aisle and a beautiful acrylic chuppah adorned with delicate white florals, all against the stunning, dramatic backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. As the sun began its decent below the horizon, the lighting turned golden, casting a warm glow over everyone and you could feel the love in the room.

The reception was held in our Aurea ballroom. Our team brought the bride and groom’s vision to life, from breathtaking white florals and clear candles that covered the guest’s tables, to the stunning hanging flower halo on top of the dance floor.
